All company jobs
A short list of every job of the company in the crew app, so you can open a job you are not assigned to, look at its drawings and add photos.
What it is for
All company jobs is in the crew app menu, straight after My Jobs. Everyone in the crew app has it.
It lists every job of the company, whether you are assigned to it or not. It is there for the day you are sent to a site that is not one of your jobs: you can still open the job, see the drawings and add your photos.
It is kept thin on purpose. It shows the job and its status, and nothing more. Your own jobs, with site notes and your snags, are in My jobs.
Who can use it
| Role | What they can do |
|---|---|
| Crew | See every job of the company, view and download drawings, add photos and pins. |
| Owner, Admin, Supervisor, Accountant | The same, but only when they also hold the Crew role and so can open the crew app. |
Nobody can add, change or delete a job here. Nobody can change a job's status here.
The list
When you open it, the list shows only the jobs still going. The job that starts earliest is first. There is no button to add a job.
Columns
| Column | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Job | The site name, then the job title. |
| Status | A coloured badge: Quoted, Agreed, Scheduled, In progress, Snagging, Completed, Invoiced, Paid or Special. Read only. |
Both show in the table and on the phone cards. A button above the list switches between the table and the cards. See Table or cards.
Filters
There is one filter, the switch Show completed & archived. It is off when you open the list.
- Off: only active jobs. Archived jobs and jobs with the status Completed or Paid are left out.
- On: every job.
It works as soon as you switch it. There is no button to apply it.
Search
The search box looks in the name shown in the Job column: the site name and the job title. Typing a site name finds every job on that site. Words can be in any order and small typing mistakes are forgiven.
Open a job
Each row has one action, View. It opens the job page. There are no bulk actions.
The job page
The page title is the site name and the job title. The page shows only:
| Field | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Title | The job title. |
| Status | The job's status, as a badge. |
Below come Drawings and Photos, one under the other.
Apart from the site name in the page title, the page shows no client, no site address, no crew, no value, no notes and no snags. For your own jobs, open them from My Jobs to see the site notes and your snags.
A job that is hidden from the list because it is completed or archived still opens when you follow a link to it.
Drawings and photos
These two sections work exactly as on a job in My Jobs:
- Drawings: view and download only. You cannot add or delete one.
- Photos: view, download and Add photos, with the same fields. You can place pins on images and change the pins you placed yourself. You can never delete a saved photo.
The steps are on My jobs.
What happens after
- A photo you save here goes into the job's Photos. The office and the job's own crew see it.
- Adding a photo here does not assign you to the job. It will not show in My Jobs or on This week until the office puts you on it.
Common mistakes
A job is missing from the list. It is completed, paid or archived. Switch on Show completed & archived.
I cannot see the site address or the notes. This page shows only the title and the status. The site notes are on the job in My Jobs, for jobs you are assigned to. Ask the office for the details of any other job.
I cannot change the status. The status is read only in the crew app. Tell the office.
I uploaded the wrong photo. Crew can never delete a saved photo. Ask the office to remove it.
